Guthwine, Sword of Eomer for 3D Print
A client had a request for a screen accurate replica of Guthwine, the sword of Eomer of Rohan, from Lord of the Rings. It was an incredible opportunity to create a very intricate sword from a movie and book series that is very near and dear to me. The client sent amazing reference images from the movie and from Weta Workshop that I recreated as base meshes in Maya and finished out in ZBrush. After approval, all model was cut to be easily 3D printed and assembled.
