Models Created for Bronze Sculptures
These are models I created that were eventually used to create large scale bronze statues. The crown ended up being used in a bronze statue of Mary Mother of God at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. The Hornet Statue is now located at Shenandoah University in Winchester Virginia. The crown had such amazing sketch reference that it was relatively easy to produce but the hornet statue was quite a challenge. There were many revisions as I worked with the client to key in on what they imagined the detail to be in the hornet logo as it's pretty vague on detail. All things considered it is a huge honor to have helped produce both.
