This is a small selection of the more complex cross pendants I've designed over the last 4 years. Creating custom jewelry means each design has it's own custom challenges. Each design is created based on a sketch drawn by me or a co-worker or from reference provided by the client. It is impossible to draw something and expect it to function exactly that way in 3D or in metal so a lot of work goes into problem solving what will work best for the client as well as for the metalsmiths. The workflow is typically Jewelry CAD Dream to Maya/Zbrush as needed and then to Rhino for tool pathing to be milled or 3D printed then casted in gold, silver, or platinum.
